Welcome to this month’s edition of ‘What’s New?’. In December, we updated and added features many of you requested.
This month, we’re introducing:
- Updated ‘Online channels’ section
- New AI menu import 🔥
(from any resource like an image, PDF, Excel, or website link) - New website templates
Let’s get to it.
1. Updated ‘Online channels’ section
We have updated our ‘Online channels‘ section. Now, you can add links to the most popular services:
- Social media: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok.
- Review websites: Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp.
- Ordering services: UberEats, Takeaway.com, Food Panda.
Make sure to add links to all platforms. That way, you can gather more online reviews and make your social media channels and ordering services easily accessible to your customers.
When customers place an order, UpMenu automatically sends an email requesting a review. If multiple review sites are linked, it randomly chooses one for the review request. This ensures you build an even online reputation across platforms like Google, TripAdvisor, or Yelp.
2. New AI menu import 🔥
You can now speed up the process of creating your menu by importing menu from any resource like an image, PDF, Excel, or website link
Here’s how this works.
This change, just like any other change we make, was possible thanks to your feedback. Let us know what you think about this change by filling out the form you can find below in the video description.
3. New website templates
This month, we’re introducing 4 new templates for 4 restaurant types:
- Fast-food restaurants
- Food trucks
- Ice cream shops
- Casual dining restaurants
That’s it for December. Thank you for your continued support and feedback. We hope you’ll find these changes useful. Help us deliver a better product by providing us with your feedback here.
See you next time!
